The 2008 ACUNS Annual Meeting will be held at the Gustav Stresemann Institute in Bonn, Germany 5-7 June, in cooperation with the German Development Institute. ACUNS, the Academic Council on the United Nations System, is an international network of researchers, teachers, practitioners who are interested in UN-focused research and policy. The purpose of ACUNS is to stimulate and support research and teaching on the role of the United Nations system in international relations. ACUNS supports innovative and excellent performance of researchers, students and practitioners on all issues referring to the UN. ACUNS also helps to bring together all other interested individuals in a community of people and institutions interested in issues of international organization and global governance.

Vom 5. bis 7. Juni 2008 findet in Bonn die Jahresversammlung des Academic Council on the
United Nations System (ACUNS) in Kooperation mit dem Deutschen Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) statt. ACUNS, der Akademische Rat für die Vereinten Nationen, ist ein internationales Netzwerk von Akademikern und Praktikern, die sich für die Vereinten Nationen interessieren. ACUNS unterstützt innovative und herausragende Leistungen in Forschung, Studium und Praxis zu allen Themen, die die Vereinten Nationen betreffen. Zudem fördert ACUNS den Dialog zwischen Praktikern und Wissenschaftlern, um den Informationsaustausch zu stärken.
