Barbara Solich has been working for IHDP since 2008. Trained as an interdisciplinary specialist in the field of global environmental change, she gathered scientific and managerial skills with IHDP as a resident scholar and Communications Associate. After having received her master’s degree, Barbara Solich continued her affiliation with IHDP as a Programme Associate and gained further experience in the management of IHDP’s scientific portfolio and capacity development activities. 

As Project Officer, Barbara Solich acts as a liaison for IHDP's science projects, partner programmes, National Committees and the Scientific Committee. She is involved in the organization of IHDP meetings and workshops and supports IHDP's scientific initiatives and publications.
