As Communications Manager & Editor, Carmen Scherkenbach is in charge of writing and editing IHDP's various publications, such as opinion editorials, articles, policy briefs, press releases and annual reports. She is the editor-in-chief of IHDP's biannual DIMENSIONS magazine, conducts interviews and creates content for IHDP's social media channels. Further, she is responsible for the organization's outreach and press relations, the implementation of the communications strategy and the continuous development of the programme's product portfolio.

Carmen Scherkenbach previously worked for the European Commission and the German Embassy, both in Washington, D.C., as well as for "Capital" business magazine and Pixelpark AG in Cologne, Germany. She studied in Germany, Spain and Sweden and holds a degree in Communications.
