The IHDP communications team recently took part in the Deutsche Welle Global Media Forum held annually at the World Conference Center in Bonn. Along with staff members from UNU and other UN agencies located in Bonn, the team answered questions from participants and disseminated information on the work of IHDP and its global research network, focusing on the objectives and latest achievements of IHDP and its current projects.

The Deutsche Welle Global Media Forum is a congress with international reach, drawing media representatives from around the world and professionals from the fields of politics, culture, business, development cooperation and science. This year’s conference, entitled “Human Rights in a Globalized World – Challenges for the Media”, gathered 1,600 participants.
