The IHDP Secretariat would like to warmly welcome the new Chair of the Global Land Project, Peter Verburg, the incoming Executive Officer Giovana Espindola and the Project Officer Camille Nolasco. We recently published the news that the International Project Office is moving from Denmark to Brazil.

The new IPO in Brazil and Peter Verburg, the new chair of GLP, will not only strengthen existing and new regional and thematic networks, but also lead GLP into a productive and exciting synthesis phase.

Tobias Langanke left GLP and will be working for the European Environment Agency (EEA http://www.eea.europa.eu/) in Copenhagen as of February 1. Congratulations on the new position!
