Interview with IHDP Executive Director Anantha Duraiappah featured in ‘International Innovation’
In the June edition of ‘International Innovation’, IHDP Executive Director Anantha Duraiappah talks about the programme’s work and explains why it is crucial that we understand the social and cultural drivers of human behaviour in order to bring about more sustainable societies.
Prof. Duraiappah argues that social scientists will have to fundamentally question the manner in which societies and cultures around the globe react to the multiplicity of environmental and social problems and points out the importance of promoting dialogue between scientists and policy-makers to help adapt to global environmental change.
