The UN-Water Decade Programme on Capacity Development (UNW-DPC), established in 2007, is a joint program of UN-Water. UNW-DPC’s mission is to enhance the coherence and effectiveness of the capacity development activities of UN-Water and seeks to strengthen the ability of the UN-Water members and partners to support Member States to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) related to freshwater and sanitation.
