The German National Committee on Global Change Research (NKGCF) is pleased to announce the 5th National Colloquium to be held on 6 September 2012 in Berlin. Research in the frame of the new international research program "Future Earth" will strengthen the development towards a globally sustainable acting society, will mainly take place in an integrative way and will follow the so-called co-design of research agendas and co-production of knowledge. The main goal of the national colloquium is to discuss the new main focus of global change research and its possible demands and challenges but also the new possibilities for science.
