The IHDP Scientific Committee is comprised of leading scientists from the social sciences, humanities, and natural sciences. Appointed members are nominated by our wider research community and selected by other committee members. Ex-Officio members are the chairs of our project's and partners respective scientific steering committees.

The scientific committee guides our work agenda, approving scientific projects, electing their steering committees, and making decisions that impact the programme as a whole.
