IHDP's Scientific Committee Chair Sir Partha Dasgupta was a part of the working group for the People and the Planet report recently released by the Royal Society. The report gives an overview of how global population and consumption are linked, and the implications for a finite planet. It also offers key recommendations on how population and consumption need to be addressed in order for us to move toward a more sustainable world.
