Draft 3rd US National Climate Assessment Report - Now available for download

A number of UGEC researchers are contributing authors to various chapters of the report, particularly the section on Urban/Infrastructure/Vulnerability. The National Climate Assessment Development and Advisory Committee (NCADAC), the federaladvisory committee for the National Climate Assessment, approved their draft of the Third National Climate Assessment Report for release for public comment. The draft report is available for download - both as a single document and by chapter - at http://ncadac.globalchange.gov.

IHDP launches Global Survey on Social Sciences

IHDP, in partnership with ISSC and UNESCO, just launched a global survey to document how social sciences and humanities scholars view research priorities related to global environmental change (GEC). We are inviting scholars to give feedback on their role in GEC and will be using the results to illustrate incentives and disincentives for engaging in this field and to frame the global sustainability research program from a social sciences perspective.
